AUTOBOX LAUNCH LATEST CORRUGATED BOX MAKER AT INTERPACK 2011

Autobox "Quick Set" HiPak - HiFlex - HiCut box combined Box Maker and Flexo Printer

Quick Set Boxmaking machinery manufacturer, Autobox Machinery Ltd of Leighton Buzzard have reported record sales in 2011 with turnover up some 50% on 2010.

Growth has been achieved both in the UK and Export markets, with Export sales now accounting for over 70% of turnover. During 2011, machines have been shipped to over 20 different Countries with Customers ranging from small to large volume Box Plants.The introduction of new machines specifically the HiPak and HiCut Quick Set box maker coupled with a proactive sales drive, have contributed to growth and record sales.

2 years of intensive R&D has seen the Autobox range completely updated with machines now capable of running over 100 different FEFCO box styles all with typical 60 seconds, tool less make ready times. The recently launched HiFlex range of single and two colour flexo printers, servo driven for quick set up and accurate print registration, have further enhanced the Autobox range.

Barry Tabor, Autobox's Managing Director comments: "We have been working hard to change the perception of Autobox machines being suitable only for very short runs. Box Plants are replacing older Printer Slotter/Creasers and Die Cutters with our machines and are using them for medium to longer run orders. They report that our Quick Set technology has very definite productivity benefits. We enter 2012 with a very healthy forward order book and will continue our sales drive into new Export markets."
